Bio-Modulation LED is a non-invasive light therapy designed to support skin regeneration, reduce inflammation and optimise cellular function through targeted wavelengths of light.

At Arēte, treatments are fully customised using MediLuxe LED technology, allowing us to select specific wavelengths based on your skin’s needs and desired outcomes.

How It Works:

Bio-modulation works by delivering specific wavelengths of light into the skin, where they are absorbed by cellular chromophores within the mitochondria.

This process stimulates ATP (cellular energy) production, enhancing cellular repair, regeneration and overall skin function.

Different wavelengths penetrate at varying depths and are selected based on your skin condition:

• Blue Light (≈415nm) – Targets acne-causing bacteria (C. acnes), helping to reduce breakouts and inflammation

• Green Light (≈525nm) – Supports regulation of melanin production, assisting with pigmentation and uneven tone

• Red Light (≈633nm) – Stimulates collagen production, improves circulation and supports skin healing

• Near Infrared (≈830nm) – Penetrates deeper into the dermis to enhance tissue repair, reduce inflammation and support advanced regeneration
